The Battle of Britain

This is the story of the 'Battle of Britain' as it has never been told before. A condensed, action-packed account of one of the most thrilling chapters in the long history of Western civilisation, graphically pictured and including archive Pathe footage of heart-stopping impact. It is the story of one heroic year in the life of war-time Britain; of how under the inspired leadership of Winston Churchill, a nation defied Adolf Hitler and survived the thunderous assault of the German Luftwaffe with a victory that ultimately turned the tide of the Second World War. This expertly edited version of the epic struggle makes dramatic use of British, French and German film coverage of the tumultuous events crowded into the period September 1939 to June 1941.
